Playa Blanca<\/h1>\n

La parte m\u00e1s caliente de la isla<\/h2>\n

Playa Blanca est\u00e1 situada en la parte m\u00e1s al Sur de Lanzarote y se esta convirtiendo en una de las zonas de la isla con mejor turismo. Originalmente era un peque\u00f1o pueblo de pescadores que se ha ido transformando con grandes complejos de primera calidad.<\/p>\n

Marina Rubic\u00f3n, es el puerto deportivo privado mas grande de la isla y rodeado de un peque\u00f1o pueblo, de calles estrechas y adoquinadas, con tiendas de alto standing, caf\u00e9s y restaurantes.<\/p>\n

Playa Blanca puede presumir del clima m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido de Lanzarote, ya que casi siempre se disfruta de un c\u00e1lido sol y tambi\u00e9n puede presumir de algunas de las mejores playas, donde el mar es de color turquesa, cristalino y siempre tranquilo.<\/p>\n

Hay unas vistas magn\u00edficas a las monta\u00f1as, Isla de Lobos y Fuerteventura.<\/p>\n

El paseo mar\u00edtimo de Playa Blanca, al lado del mar, une el puerto, las playas y el pueblo de playa Blanca y est\u00e1 repleta de tiendas, restaurantes y bares. Desde el puerto, en el extremo del paseo, puede coger un ferry a Fuerteventura. Puede ir como pasajero a pie o con coche  y cruzar, dura 15 minutos en el moderno FastCatn de Fred Olsen, es muy divertido, usted puede  sentarse en la cubierta de la proa o de la terraza al aire libre y disfrutar del mar.<\/p>\n

Una gran ventaja de poder alojarse en Playa Blanca, es la proximidad a las playas de Papagayo. Estas playas son las mas bonitas de la isla (y algunas personas dicen que de toda Espa\u00f1a). Una visita a Papagayo es necesario si te vas a quedar en Playa Blanca, sin embargo para  ir un d\u00eda a estas playas, usted necesitar\u00e1 coche.<\/p>\n

Si usted tiene que ir a la cl\u00ednica, necesitar\u00e1 la tarjeta sanitaria.<\/p>\n

Iglesia<\/h3>\n

La iglesia est\u00e1 en el centro del pueblo de Playa Blanca y ofrece los servicios tanto a los cat\u00f3licos como a los anglicanos.<\/p>\n

La comuni\u00f3n anglicana es el domingo a las 17,30 y la misa cat\u00f3lica es a las 10,00 horas.<\/p>\n

Ferry a Fuerteventura<\/h3>\n

Usted puede coger un ferry desde el puerto de Playa Blanca a Corralero en el extremo norte de Fuerteventura.<\/p>\n

Hay dos compa\u00f1\u00edas que navegan entre Playa Blanca y Corralejo. Armas \u2013 que dura aproximadamente 30 minutos<\/a>, y Fred Olsen, que tarda 15 minutos<\/a><\/p>\n

Usted puede reservar un tour y tambi\u00e9n hay un restaurante muy bueno. Otras bodegas a tener en cuenta son La Geria<\/a>, Rubicon<\/a> y El Grifo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The warmest part of the island<\/h2>\r\n

Playa Blanca, at the southern-most tip of Lanzarote, is fast becoming one of the island's finest tourist areas. Originally a small fishing village it has been transformed into a first class holiday resort.<\/p>\r\n

Marina Rubicon is the largest private marina on the island and is effectively a small village of interconnecting cobbled streets lined with high class shops, cafes, and restaurants.<\/p>\r\n

Playa Blanca can boast the warmest weather on Lanzarote as it is almost always basked in warm sunshine, it can also lay claim to some of the finest beaches, where the deep turquoise sea is crystal clear and always calm. There are superb views of the mountains and the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura across the water.<\/p>\r\n

Playa Blanca's sea front promenade connects the beaches and is lined with shops, restaurants and bars. From the harbour at the far end of the promenade, you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura. You can go as a foot passenger or with a car and the 15-minute crossing on the modern Fred Olsen FastCat is great fun as you can sit at the viewing deck at the front or on the open-air terrace and enjoy the ocean.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The resort is great for families, there is plenty of nightlife and entertainment with many of the bars offering live music. The choice of restaurants is a gastronomic delight, varying from local Canarian tapas to international cuisine.<\/p>\r\n

A great advantage to staying in Playa Blanca villas is the proximity to the beaches of Papagayo. These beaches are the most beautiful beaches on the island (and some people say in all of Spain). A visit to Papagayo is a must if you are staying in Playa Blanca, however, do take a picnic as there are no shops or facilities here, and you will need a car.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Clinic<\/h3>\r\nFor the main state run clinic you will need an EU Health card and passport.\r\n

Church<\/h3>\r\nThe Church is in the centre of the town and offers both Roman Catholic and Anglican services.\r\nAnglican Holy Communion is on Sunday at 5.30pm. Roman Catholic mass is at 10.00am\r\n

Ferry to Fuerteventura<\/h3>\r\nYou can catch a ferry from the port at Playa Blanca to Corralejo at the northern tip of Fuerteventura. There are many activities to enjoy in Fuerteventura from windsurfing to sand dune surfing. You may choose to fly to Fuerteventura airport from your home location and drive across to Playa Blanca.\r\n\r\nThere are 2 companies who sail between Playa Blanca and Corralejo. Armas - which takes about a half hour<\/a>, and Fred Olsen, on a fast cat, which takes about 15 minutes<\/a>\r\n

Eating and drinking<\/h3>\r\nThere are many fine restaurants in Lanzarote.
